Applause Africa magazine hits the Ghanaian market
Applause Africa, an international lifestyle magazine will belaunched in Ghana on Thursday, March 28.
The magazine is a quarterly publication for the progressive
African and it focuses on the people, cultures, philosophies
and successes of Africans and the Diaspora.
Producers of the magazine said in statement that, Applause
Africa "is an ever popular, dynamic, entertaining, informative
media and a guaranteed platform for reaching the most
economically viable, savvy and upwardly mobile Africans
professionals."
"Our vision is to claim the ownership of our stories by
focusing on the successes of the people of our people. We are
excited that we are launching in Ghana. Applause Africa is
currently available in NY, London, Lagos, South Africa and
now Ghana," a statement added.
The launch cocktail will be held at Sytis Bookshop in Accra
and it will showcase the magazine's special 40 under 40 issue
which features Nigerian singer/songwriter Bez on the cover.
Bez joins a host of other inspirational, game-changing
Africans in our first annual Applause 40 Under 40 list.
"Honoring innovators in fields as varied as media, fashion,
entrepreneurship, and advocacy, this is an issue you'll want to
hang on to for all of 2013," producers said.
Two Ghanaians, Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah and Joselyn Dumas,
are also featured in the Applause 40 Under 40 list.
