Tigo invades Kwahu with 'Free Bonto' featuring Sarkodie and more…
The first would be a Sales Float on Good Friday, March 29 from Obo, through Obomeng to Atibie, followed by a health walk in the early hours of Holy Saturday, March 30.
“The walk is expected to attract both young and old to develop healthy lifestyles,” a statement from Tigo said.
Tigo would also hold the Free Bonto Concert Party at the Eastern Palace – Atibie, which would be telecast live on Adom TV on MultiTV from 4:00pm on Saturday.
The statement said the Abibiman Drama Troupe and some local musicians are on the bill to treat audience to rib-cracking and fun-filled entertainment.
It said fans will be treated to a highlife concert with sensational Highlife artistes like Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, Nana Acheampong and Nana Tuffour.
The highlight of the day will be the biggest of all street carnivals with award-winning Sarkodie – “Obidiponbidi” steering affairs.
“Sarkodie is expected to treat fans to hit songs like Azonto Fiesta, Pizza & Burger, You go Kill me, and many more throughout the night,” the statement said.
The Free Bonto package would be completed with collaboration between Tigo and Accra-based YFM to treat patrons to a relaxing Pool Party at WAGS Hotel in Obomeng.
Tigo said all the events have free entry. “The good news is that, you don't have to pay anything to celebrate this Easter in a grand style. Only Free Bonto allows you to enjoy all these and more all free of charge.”
